Travelogue Goa: Day 3 - Temples and Religious Places

This day was spiritually uplifting for me, but unfortunate in terms of photography. There was constant rains through out the journey, and I did not use my camera on this day. So this post will be short and sweet...

We visited the following temples in Goa

1. Sri Navadurga Samsthan, Madkai (around 7 kms from Mardol)
2. Sri Khandoba Ganapathi temple, Khandoba (on the way to Marcel)
3. Sri Devaki Krishna Ravalnath Temple, Marcel (A slight deviation from the Panjim Highway)
4. Sri Balaji Temple (Again a slight deviation from the Panjim Highway)
5. Sri Mangueshi Temple, Mangueshi, Goa
6. Sri Mahalasa Temple, Mardol

This pretty  much took our whole day. We had lunch at Sri Mahalasa Temple, Mardol - An excellent vegetarian dinner for Rs. 25/-. For dinner, we had gone out to one of the shoddy Bar & Restaurants at Ponda.
